We will be starting from the parking lot at 2151 East Broadway in Tempe. There is a building on the corner called “Broadway 101.” As the name implies, it is at the intersection of the 101 and Broadway. Here is a map for the location:

Broadway is located between the Highway 202 and the 60 off of the 101.

Plan to arrive at 8:30 AM as we will leave the parking lot at 9:00 AM and head North on the 101. Continue North 0n 101 existing at E. Shea Blvd. Another rally point has been set up on Shea Blvd. for those coming from the North valley (See map). We will meet at Barnes & Noble on the southeast corner of Shea just east of the 101 but before the hospital. Meeting time is 9:15 AM and depart at 9:40 AM.

We will continue east on Shea to the Beeline Highway (87).

Turn left onto highway 87 Continue on and turn left at North Bush Highway.

Follow the Bush highway to Usery Pass Road. Turn right.

Continue on Usery Pass Road which becomes N. Ellsworth. Turn left onto E. Brown Rd.

East Brown Rd becomes E. Lost Dutchman. We turn left on North Apache Trail.

Continue on Apache Trail to the overlook point for a brief stop then on to Tortilla Flat.
