Ron Lee Memorial CRUZ, Palm Springs:

will host the 2006 Ron Lee Memorial by Jerry & Carol
Peterson, Bud Lucas ZCCIV member and nephew of Ron Lee
will be in attendance with Ron’s famous Z. Ron
and Phyllis Lee were members of Desert Z Association.
The BBQ is
being held at Carol and Jerry's at the Sunrise Racquet
Club.
The Sunrise
Racquet Club is located at 1200 Sunrise Way in Palm
Springs
- Turn
right and the BBQ is located in the second condo complex
on the left, the first condo in the unit.
- Hamburgers,
hot dogs and soft drinks / water will be provided.
- Please
bring a side dish to share.
- Bring
your own beer and wine.
- Bring
folding chairs.
Hotel
accommodations can be made through the Desert Cruisers

3% commission goes to DZA...but you must designate DZA
as the recipient club under Hotel/Motel Finder.
Those staying
Saturday night in Palm Springs, can meet with the other
clubs at Elmer’s Pancake House at 1030 E. Palm
Canyon Drive at 8:30 AM on Sunday for breakfast.
Other clubs
possibly attending – Group Z, Z Club of San Diego,
The Z Club Inland Valley, Empire Z, and Sin City Z Club.

from Phoenix on Saturday morning March 18:
We will meet
at the NW corner of I-10 and Dysart at the Wingate
Inn parking lot 8:00 AM and leave at
8:30 AM. We will be driving I-10 towards Los Angeles
with stops at Beautiful Downtown Quartzite.
Once in the
Palm Springs area, take the DATE PALM DRIVE
exit
Make a sharp
left onto DATE PALM DRIVE
Turn right
onto VISTA CHINO
Turn left
onto N. SUNRISE WAY
For
those going early (Friday) -- You can make the
great drive from Temecula to Palm Springs also known
as the "Pines to Palms drive" on Saturday
morning.
We will meet
with ZCSD and GROUP Z at WAL-MART parking lot on Hwy
79 south and Apis Road in Temecula ; we will caravan
leaving at 10:00 am. Our route to Palm Springs will
be Hwy 79 south to Hwy 371 north to Hwy 74 east. We
will follow 74 east over the hill to Hwy 111 in Palm
Desert. Take Hwy 111 north to Sunrise Way in Palm Springs.
Turn right (north) on Sunrise to 1200 N. Sunrise Way,
the sunrise Racquet club. The gate code is (020) under
the name of Jerry Peterson. Condo phone # is 760-323-9316.
Besides the Barbecue, swimming, tennis and racquetball
will be available.
Sunday
March 19 --Those staying Saturday night in Palm
Springs, can meet with the other clubs at Elmer’s

on Sunday for breakfast.
After Breakfast
some DZA member wanted to stop at the Cabazon
Outlet stores before heading back to Phoenix.
