DZA 4th Annual "Z cars of the West "
Las Vegas, NV
February 13-15, 2009
This should be a fun event and a chance to meet members of other Z clubs from AZ, CA, and NV.
- Friday, February 13th
- 8:30 AM – Meet at McDonalds (3140 West Carefree Highway) - North East of I-17 and AZ-74 (West Carefree Highway)
- 9:00 AM – Leave for Las Vegas (AZ 74 to US 60 to US 93)
- Stop in Kingman for lunch – Location to be determined
- 3:00 PM (approx) – Arrive Las Vegas Hilton Hotel
- 7:00 PM Meet at In ‘n Out Burger (W Sahara/ Rancho) for Meet ‘n Greet with other Z Clubs.
Address is 2900 West Sahara, which is 2-3 miles from the Hilton
- NOTE: Details of the drive to Vegas will be finalized when we meet at 8:30 AM.
- Saturday, February 14th
- 8:00 AM – OPTIONAL - Cars and Coffee ( I-215 / Eastern ) http://lasvegas.carsandcoffee.info
- 9:30 AM – Meet at Cars and Coffee
- 10:00 AM (approx) – Depart for Valley of Fire.
http://www.parks.nv.gov/vf.htm. Entrance to the state park is $6.00 per car. We will drive and stop throughout the park for sightseeing and photo opportunities.
- Speed limit is strictly enforced inside the park
- 1:00 PM – Arrive for lunch at Aliante Station Casino/Hotel http://www.aliantecasinohotel.com/
- 3:30 PM – Return to Hilton Hotel.
- Sunday, February 15th
- 8:00 AM (approximately) – Meet for breakfast at the Hilton
- Say our good-byes and depart for home

Optional Tours
We were unable to secure a "special" tour at the Shelby Automobile factory on Saturday (they are closed!) however they do offer their regular tours at 10:30 AM Mon-Fri.
