Hannagan Meadow Weekend June 11th & 12th:

We are driving the Coronado Trail, US 191, the “Curviest Highway in America” the weekend of 11-12 June. We will leave from east Mesa and go through Globe, Safford, and Clifton-Morenci to the Hannagan Meadow Lodge in the White Mountains. This is about 260 miles and will take about 6 hours of driving. The Hannagan Meadow Lodge has seven rooms and 10 cabins and is located at 9100 feet above sea level. There may still be rooms available! The cost is approximately 90 to 100 dollars depending on the room. We will have dinner at the lodge and breakfast the next morning.  On Sunday, you can retrace your route or continue north to Springerville and come home thru Show Low and the Salt River Canyon on US 60 or thru Heber and Payson via AZ 260 and AZ 87. You must call the lodge at 928-339-4370 to reserve your room. If we fill all seven rooms in the lodge we can also rent the cabins. Hurry and make your reservation as time is of the essence.
